The Employer Branding Awards has originated in the last decade. Employer Branding Awards have been very active in the last 4 years across Europe, parts of America & some parts of Asia Pacific region like Singapore, Malaysia & India. The attention and spotlight has been on India because of the growth and the opportunity that it offers. Besides the importance that India has gained over a period of time.

As a country, India is of great significance to the “rest of the world”. As an Economy, promising in its endeavors. Institute has done research on India’s Best Employers and instituted awards to recognize India’s Best Employers for Excellence in Talent

Management, HR Strategy, Application of IT, Innovation in Recruitment, Innovation in Retention strategy, Innovation in Career Development, Managing Health at workplace and Global HR Strategy.

In India, the  award is being propagated by Indira Group  of Institutes, Pune.

The Employer Branding  Award is  organized  for a professional  cause  &  not – for – profit event. Selected HR  professionals, Organizations are  identified & evaluated by the jury based on certain pre-defined criteria. The  jury  for  selecting  the  winners for 2009 - 2010  is  chaired  by  Dr. Indira Parikh, IIM A, a renowned HR  academician & practitioner  of international  repute.

The HR Leadership Award was given to Mr. Shankar Narayan, Head – HR, KSK Energy Ventures Limited in recognition of the HR initiatives of the organization on 4th December 2009 at HICC complex, Novotel, Hyderabad.

Award consists of a Golden Statuette and a plaque. Mr. Shanker Narayan is one of the proud recipients of HR Leadership Award for the Southern Regional Round this year. Some of  the  other professionals, who have  been  conferred  award this year represent  the  following  Organizations.
