- Gurha East Captive Coal Block- Bikaner, Rajasthan
The Gurha East block is located in the Bikaner District of Rajasthan. The Gurha East block has been allotted to VS Lignite Power Private Limited by the Ministry of Coal in July 2005, to meet the fuel requirements of a proposed 135 MW power plant. All the developmental activities relating to the lignite block, execution of mining lease with Rajasthan Governement, initial overburden removal has been completed in record time presenting the testimony of the execution skills of the Group. The peak production of lignite from the block has been achieved to cater the fuel requirement of the power project.
- Morga II - Chhattisgarh
KSK has entered into a coal supply agreement with M/s Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Limited. GMDC has been allocated Morga-II coal block in the state of Chhattisgarh. The coal block has geological reserves of 350 MT. GMDC has committed to supply enough coal to meet the generation needs of 1750 MW capacity being implemented by KSK Mahanadi Power Company Limited in Chhattisgarh.
- Gare Pelma Sector III - Chhattisgarh
KSK has entered into a coal supply agreement with M/s Goa Industrial Development Corporation. Goa IDC has been allocated Gare Pelma Sector III coal block in the state of Chhattisgarh. The coal block has geological reserves of 215 MT. Entire coal production from this coal block has been committed to be supplied for additional 1800 MW capacity being implemented by Wardha Power Company Limited in Chhattisgarh.
- Naini - Orissa
Naini coal block in Orissa with Geological Reserves of 500 MT has been jointly allocated to GMDC and Pondicherry Industrial Promotion Development & Investment Corporation Limited (PIPDIC) – a Government of Pondicherry enterprise. PIPDIC’s has a share of 250 Million Tonnes out of the above reserves.
Coal Supply Agreement has been concluded with PIPDIC for supply of coal to the tune of 9 MTPA from its share of reserves at Naini block to 1800 MW power project being developed by JR Powergen.
- Morga I - Chhattisgarh
KSK and IDFC have entered into a memorandum of understanding with Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation Limited (MPSMCL). Pursuant to the MOU, MPSMCL has been allocated Morga-I Coal block in Chhattisgarh with geological reserves of 250 million tones.
