1. Head - Maintenance for 540 MW Power Plant

Position title: Head - Maintenance for 540 MW Power Plant

Qualification : BE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical) Experience in Thermal Power Plant Maintenance as Head (Preferably single unit of 100 MW & above)
Experience : 20 to 25 years
Reporting to : VP (O&M)

Responsibilities:
Reviews and monitors reliability & availability improvement of Power Generating Station through adherence to Preventive and Predictive Maintenance practices in planned and systematic manner

Reviews and monitors day-to-day maintenance practices

Recommends steps to maximize capacity utilization on daily, monthly & yearly basis for generation of targeted power with adherence to rated operating parameters on daily basis

Reviews compliance of equipment-wise Maintenance schedule at the operating station

Interacts with personnel on critical data for variance against rated parameters for initiating corrective actions

Provides expert assistance on trouble-shooting in maintenance aspects

Initiates methods for betterment of present level of performance of plant

Review and monitor resource availability at different Power Station and suggests optimum utilization
Provides expertise technical assistance in procurement of spares & equipment
Formulates guidelines for Annual Overhaul of units, finalizes scope of works in association with station personnel and monitors execution with time, quality and cost
Conducts failure analysis & initiates measures to reduce outages through operating personnel at Stations
Reviews and monitors consumption of spares and consumables
Reviews and monitors Safety of Plants & Equipments and Occupational Health Hazards for personnel and guides in initiating improvements
Participates in annual departmental budget finalization in association with Power Plant personnel
Prepares relevant reports for giving the plant performance to the top management
Studies and evaluates offers of the projects on Maintenance perspectives since project stage and provides technical recommendations to the management
Participates in pre- & post-bidding discussions, clarifications and recommendations in maintenance perspectives
Identifies and initiates actions on technological up-gradation

Responsibilities:
Overall incharge for Coordination & monitoring of C&I operation & maintenance activities in plant

Co ordinate in commissioning activities towards smooth handing over of units to O & M.

Infrastructure development for C&I deptt

To establish safe, standard and efficient maintenance practices

Resource mobilization and allocation for material and manpower.

To motivate, train and care subordinate staff.

To decide departmental objectives and implement in line with company’s objective.

To assist top management for policy implementation and development activities.


3. Dy. Manager (C&I, Maintenance)

Qualification : BE / B.Tech (E & I) with 6 to 8 years of experience in Thermal Power Plant C & I maintenance. (Preferably single unit of 100 MW & above)

Responsibilities:
Coordination & monitoring of C&I maintenance activities in plant

Carries out the verification of operation parameters and the conformance of these parameters to the rated values, analyzes and takes corrective actions in case of any deviations.

Infrastructure development for C&I deptt

To establish safe, standard and efficient maintenance practices

Manage preparation of databank for C&I equipments/ systems

Manage validation of technical specifications & finalization of mandatory spares


4. AGM / Sr. Manager (Operations)

Qualification : BE (Mechanical) / BE (Electrical) with 10 to 15 years of experience in Thermal Power Plant Operations. (Preferably single unit of 100 MW & above)

Responsibilities:
To monitor the day to day operational plant performance (4*135 MW. PF Fired Boilers with reheat Cycle)

To ensure that Plant operational activities are in accordance with the technical parameters, Policies / Guidelines / Systems and procedures laid down by the company and complying laws, orders and directives of Central / State Govt

Guides in initiating measures to ensure higher Plant Load Factor to meet the guarantee as per the contract with customers

To review and monitor the performance of O&M Contractor performance vis-a-vis contract

To ensure power generation as per the target & analyze variance (if any)

To ensure implementation of SOPs for maintaining safe practices

To assist in addressing any maintenance problems arising.

Manage activities related to preparation of internal and external MoU’s on generation targets in association with CP, CEA, Finance, Commercial and all stations.

Planning of Fuel (Coal) Quantity and Quality requirement / procurement of the same / monitoring consumption / inventory management
Sourcing of Indigenous Coal, Washed Coal, Imported Coal & Lignite and look into the logistics and contractual work
Fuel Cost Analysis, Fuel Surcharge working & claim
Dealing with Coal Companies, Indian Railway, Coal Suppliers, E auction & payment, Billing, Accounting, Payment etc.

Monitoring Fuel Supply, maintaining coal stock at optimum level, follow up with Coal companies, Railway, Coal Handling contractors etc.

Evaluating various Techno Economical option for strategically planning and sourcing of Fuel mix viz. Indigenous, Washed and Imported coal
Negotiation of Fuel Supply Agreement, Coal Sampling Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding with Coal Companies/CIL Subsidiaries

Responsibilities:
Have to identify the equipments and machineries and understand the manufacturing plans of vendors and check the physical progress of manufacturing and identify deviations, constraints, bottlenecks, etc. if any
Have to understand Bill of Material, Packing list, etc.
Should be able to get mixed with the vendor’s staff and should be able to extract the exact information
Handling engineering project material, cargo related work such as packing, quantity verifications, shipping documentations, port handling, ship loading, etc.

Planning physical layout of warehouse/stores for storage of materials, Spare parts & consumables and ensuring smooth accounting and issue of material to production & project sites.
Proper Identification and location of Materials.
Properly Physical Inspection of materials as per PO and Challan/Invoice.
Preparation of material receiving reports. Over, short and damage reports Conduct cycle counts and year end physical inventory counts, identification of variances, analysis and resolution and submittal to higher management. Checking out BOM.

Co-ordination and implementation of material handling and material control procedures.

Strict on the compliance of Material Issue Receipt and other necessary paper works before the hand over of items to the requisition party.
Managing stores operations ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings without hampering the production process.
Overseeing relocation of business premises / warehouses & analyze expenses, trends, wastage factors for all divisions.

Assists Site Head in mobilization of resources such as manpower, plant & machinery, funds, site facilities etc. for smooth execution of project
Ensures effective coordination of all project execution activities taken up by different functions such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation

Studies and interprets project specifications (designs/drawings etc.) given by the consultant for awarded contracts and obtains clarifications wherever necessary

Ensures safe custody of all drawings and documents, statutory sanctions, approvals etc. both at office and site and compliance of organizational standards

To evaluate & monitor over all work progress of erection & commissioning of equipment as per the set schedule.
To ensure all required inputs in consultation with contractor for overall work progress of Mechanical and other related areas.

To ensure smooth working, Mutual co-ordination, and co-operation among erection groups and with all concern involved in erection activities.

To guide and educate sub-ordinates and team members of other discipline to understand functioning and systems requirement.
To give feedback to all superiors about site activities and progress details related to erection & commissioning as and when required or as per feedback schedule.
To be in touch with Planning section so as to get required documents needed for erection and commissioning and to follow up for any details required.

Ensuring all projects are coordinated as per Document Control procedures.
Maintaining Project Document control process (i.e. tracking and reporting on Project document status)
Trouble-shooting (Liaise with field and other parties in the resolution of document control issues)

Analysis & query based retrieval of project engineer’s request for project related documents as well documents request from authorized sources.

Develops, maintains and updates Document Control procedures and incorporates procedures into the Project/Program.
Ensures that all aspects of documentations are effectively controlled and categorized i.e. design documentations, communications and non technical documentations, quality records, publications, etc.
Controlling and managing incoming & outgoing (Vendor & Design) documents including database establishment and maintenance.
Dealing with the follow-up of matters arising from documents, actions and responses.

Arrange documentation packages such as isometric/P&ID drawings, construction procedures, specifications and other important documents.

In charge and responsible for record and control of traceability records


22. Chinese Interpreter / Translator
Position title :
Chinese Interpreter / Translator
Number of Positions: : 6 (HO- 2 & Site – 4)
Experience : Min 4yrs of Exp in Interpreter /Translation with a Power /Manufacturing Company
Location : Hyderabad (HO), Bilaspur (Site)
Qualification : Graduate in Chinese Language/Any Graduate with Diploma in Chinese Language

Responsibilities:
Should have good understanding of all the technical terms related to Power Plant.
Interpretation from Chinese to English and English to Chinese.
Good Exposure to Chinese Language - communication, writing, reading and translation skills.
Should be able to interpret related terms of the Finance & Accounts
Should be able to coordinate with the Management, Business Development, Finance & Accounting departments.
Chinese to English and English to Chinese interpretation for Executive meetings, technical planning, conferences and with Chinese Delegates.
Proficiency in computer, MS office with internet and related software's is essential.
Document translation for components such as the following:
Functional requirements for the project.

Infrastructure components and inventories.

Strategies and Project Plans.
