Position title: Asst Manager - Safety

Qualification: Should be Graduate in Engineering or BE (Safety) / Diploma (Engineering) / BSc (MPC) with Post Graduate Diploma in Safety with experience in handling safety related issues including firefighting and occupational hazards of power plant.

Responsibilities:

To liaise and coordinate with the statutory authorities i.e. Factory Inspector and others with respect to issues related to safety & occupational health. |

Qualification: B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical) with minimum of 20 years of experience. Should have experience of commissioning modern thermal power plants and having handled single units of 210 MW and above. However the experience will not be a constraint for the right candidate. Should have worked in operations (to a maximum duration). Exposure to maintenance and erection activities will be an added advantage. Thorough knowledge or Power plant chemistry.

Responsibilities:

Should have experience of working in operations and maintenance of a coal handling plant of a modern thermal power plants. Should have worked in power plants of 1000 MW and above. However the above criterion will not be a constraint for the right candidate.

Reporting to : Head (O&M)
Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for Coal transportation from the coal yard to the power plant. |

Operation of CHP to ensure uninterrupted supply of coal to coal bunkers. |

Operations and maintenance of CHP equipment such as vibrating screens, feeders, crushers, conveying systems, wagon tipplers, stacker reclaimers, etc. |

To ensure land purchase, allotment, acquisition & related liaison work is carried out timely for smooth execution of project. |

Responsible for completion of entire land purchase / acquisition / allotment of both private / Forest and government land for the project and subsequent implementation and operation by developing harmonious relation with respective government authorities at district level, land sellers, villagers and local leaders etc. |

Responsibilities:

Overseeing and monitoring Land Matters for existing and upcoming projects (Power Plants/ / Mines/Railways/ WRD/ Power Evacuation and Others. |

To Oversee completion of entire land purchase / acquisition / allotment of both private / Forest and government land for the project (s) are done on time |

Shall act as SPOC for all matters related to Land across the country for various thermal projects (current & future). |
